Access

The airport of Bergen, Flesland, is serviced by most major airlines, with direct connections from a number of European capitals (Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, and Oslo). If you first arrive to Oslo, you can either fly to Bergen or travel by train over the mountains (Bergensbanen, the Bergen Railway) and experience 500 km of stunning landscape. From Flesland you can reach Bergen downtown either by bus (Flybuss, ticket one way 100 NOK; departure every 15 min between 6 am and 21 pm on weekdays; takes about 30 min to town). See map http://vitaminw.no/kunde/flybussen/FilVedlegg/flybusskart_Bergen.pdf.
You can also reach Bergen downtown by taxi, but it will cost you about 400-500 NOK. It takes 20-30 min depending on traffic.
